A tug-of-war competition was held as part of the 62nd Karacaoğlan Apricot, Culture, Arts, and Sports Festival, organized by Mut Municipality and coordinated by Yücel Buğdaycı, our Federation’s Mut District Representative. First place went to Mut Industrial Vocational High School, 2nd place went to Şehit Ali Gümüş Anatolian High School. Their medals were presented by Deputy Mayor Ali Tekin and District Youth and Sports Director Muhammet Senemli. Certificates of Achievement were presented by our Tug-of-War Federation’s Mut District Representative, Yücel Buğdaycı. Hold On to the Rope, Hold On to Life

Samsun Provincial Branch of the Tug-of-War Federation Organized an Interclass Tug-of-War Championship at the 30 Ağustos Imam Hatip Middle School in the İlkadim District as part of the May 19 celebrations. We would like to thank our Black Sea Regional President Adnan Meral, School Principal Mustafa Godek, Physical Education Teacher Nevin Meral, the classroom teachers, the students, our Provincial Representative Erhan Çetin, Coordinator Attorney Gürhan Gündüz, Provincial MHK Member Ayhan Sobi, and Referee Yasin Kıyak. As part of the Erasmus program included in our Tug-of-War Federation’s 2024 activity plan, a camp event was held from May 7 to May 14, 2024, at the Yıldırım Beyazıt Youth Camp in Silifke, Mersin Province, with the participation of young people from the project countries—Turkey, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania— A camp event related to the “A Greener World” project was held and successfully concluded. We would like to express our gratitude to His Excellency President Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, who has always supported our Federation and our youth; to our Minister of Youth and Sports, Osman Aşkın BAK; to our Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mehmet Ersoy; Veli Ozan ÇAKIR, Director General of Sports Services at the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Enes EFENDİOĞLU, Director General of Youth Services at the Ministry of Youth and Sports; Abdullah ASLANER, District Governor of Silifke; Ökkeş DEMİR, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports; Vahap SEÇER, Mayor of Mersin Metropolitan Municipality; to our Erdemli Mayor Mustafa Kara, to our Silifke Chief Public Prosecutor Selman ESKİLER, to our Silifke District Police Chief İsmail PETEK, to our Silifke District Director of National Education and Vice President Mustafa SEZGİN, and to the Chairman of our Federation’s Education Committee, M. Our Federation has completed the KA152 “Toward a Greener Future” Project, which was developed as part of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges program.

Our Federation has completed the KA152 “Toward a Greener Future” Project, which was developed under the Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges program. The project raised awareness among young people about environmental issues and climate change. The project brought together 30 young people from five different countries. Our Federation President, Eray Aldemir, also attended the ceremony, which was attended by members of the Silifke District Protocol.
