Our Federation President, Eray Aldemir, and the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ümit Küçük, visited Mr. M. Cemil Şensöz, the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports in Hatay, at his office to provide information about the Tug-of-War Federation and its activities and to have a friendly conversation. We would like to thank the Director for his interest and support.

Our Federation President, Eray Aldemir, and our Federation Secretary General, Recep Yurtsever, visited Mr. Ahmet Hikmet Şahin, the District Governor of Toroslar, at his office and provided him with information about the activities of the Tug-of-War Federation. With the support of Akçaabat Mayor Osman Nuri Ekim and Sports Director Ahmet Murat Baş, a special Women’s Day Tug-of-War Championship was held.

Tug-of-war continues to gain popularity across the country. A first was achieved in Istanbul, and a tug-of-war team was established within the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Marmara University. The men’s and women’s teams conducted their training sessions together under the guidance of Dr. Yasemin Aldemir in preparation for intercollegiate competitions.

Our Federation President, Eray ALDEMİR, visited Mr. Zafer Şahin Özturan, Deputy Mayor of Akdeniz, at his office and presented him with a plaque in recognition of his support and contributions to the Tug-of-War Championship held in Akdeniz District. We would like to thank the Mayor for his support of sports.
Our Giresun Provincial Representative, Hüseyin Güzel, and our Trabzon Provincial Coach, Orhan Akdemir, organized a Tug-of-War Tournament as part of the events marking the 102nd anniversary of Trabzon’s liberation. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to this event.

They emphasized that among the activities planned for Akdeniz District, the motto is “Hold On to the Rope, Hold On to Life.”
