We respectfully announce the following to the public:
As the Federation, in order to grow, expand, and promote this sport, we have appointed Provincial and District Representatives in all 81 provinces and in many districts across the country. Our efforts and activities to spread this sport—which is enjoyed by people from all walks of life and of all ages—throughout our country continue.
In addition to the activities we have undertaken to expand our Federation nationwide, we have also been monitoring our Tug-of-War Provincial and District Representatives to assess the current status of Tug-of-War activities. As a result of these evaluations, and in order to conduct more effective and efficient work, we are in the process of deciding to replace some Provincial and District Representatives where we have not observed effective performance. We have full confidence that the Provincial Representatives we have appointed are working with great determination and effort; however, it has become apparent that they have been unable to translate this work into tangible results on the ground—that is, they have failed to effectively communicate their activities to the public. We will be forced to part ways with those Representatives who have served our federation thus far but have failed to achieve the required level of performance and success; as federation president, I would like to express my gratitude to them for their contributions.
The Provincial and District Representatives with whom we will part ways will be announced following our upcoming Board of Directors meeting.
