Rope Pulling Federation Specifications for Ropes Used in Our Championships:

Rope diameter: For Minis and Stars: 8 cm; for other categories: between 10 and 12 cm.

Rope length: The minimum rope lengths for national competitions are as follows:

In the Senior, Under-23, and Junior categories, the minimum rope length is 33 meters.

In the Youth and Mini categories, the minimum rope length is 20 meters.

Rope Markings:

Bands or markings must be secured in such a way that the referee can easily adjust them as the rope stretches or is pulled taut.

1- Rope Markings for Outdoor Use

Five bands or rope markers shall be placed as follows:

(A) One band or marker at the center of the rope

(B) Two bands or markers at 4-meter intervals from the center of the rope toward both ends

(C) Two bands or markers at 5-meter intervals from the center of the rope toward both ends

(D) The markings in (A), (B), and (C) shall be in three colors.

2- Rope Markings Used in Indoor Halls

Five bands or rope markings shall be placed as follows:

(A) One band or marking at the center of the rope

(B) two bands or marker ropes at 2-meter intervals from the center toward both ends

(C) two bands or marker ropes at 2.5-meter intervals from the center toward both ends

(D) The markings in (a), (b), and (c) shall be in three colors.
