2025 SEMINAR HELD The Tug-of-War Federation held its 2025 seminar on February 20 (Zoom meeting) and on Saturday, February 22, 2025, as part of the Mersin Regional Seminar. Federation President Eray Aldemir, Education Committee Chair M. Naci Durmaz, Central Referees Committee Chair Recep Yurtsever, committee members, coaches, and referees attended the event. During the meeting, the federation’s history was discussed, and its development process from the past to the present was evaluated. Detailed discussions were held regarding the formation of committees, the planning of training programs, and events to be organized throughout the year. The focus was on promoting the sport of rope pulling and strengthening the training processes for referees, coaches, and athletes. The Federation emphasized the need to carry out activities scheduled for 2025 in a disciplined and efficient manner. While highlighting the importance of organizations that contribute to the development of the sport, the necessity for all stakeholders to work in collaboration was stressed. In the coming period, the Tug-of-War Federation will continue to support athletes, coaches, and referees through officially organized events and training programs with broader participation at Provincial Sports Directorates.
